Wendy Kathleen Barwick (nee Hathaway)

Loving mother of Tanya Danby and Kenneth Barwick (Faye). Cherished grandmother of Clarissa, Zoie (Jake), Zaida, Benjamin, Huntyr, Hailey, Cody, Haidyn, Hudsyn, and Hannah. Great-grandmother of Mykel, Madalyn, and Melodie. Dear sister of Marc (Shirley), Cory (Sue), Dane (Karen), Michele (Mike), and Lisa (Howard). She also leaves behind her cat and best friend, Jussi. Predeceased by her father Paul Hathaway, mother Ada Lymburner (née Lawson), step father Mike Lymburner, and ex husband Kenneth E. Barwick.

Everyone who met Wendy couldn’t help but to love her. She was kind, generous and always made everyone laugh. She loved nothing more than her family, but Willie Nelson was a close second. Whenever there was a game on, you could always find her tuned in and cheering for the Blue Jays (especially baby Bo). After attending Delta and Westdale Secondary Schools, she was a long-time employee of Royal Bank and Lowe’s.

Resting at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton for visitation on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 1-3 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow. If so desired, memorial donations to Brantford General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
