Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Evelyn for 59 years. Loving father of Lynn Hubbard (the late Bob), Mark, Gregory (predeceased), Lori Ewing (Gary), Chris (Tina) and Ray. Father-in-law of Jennifer. Sadly missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with Vigil Prayers at 3 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Eugene’s Roman Catholic Church, 232 Queenston Road, on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 11 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
