William Ilkew

December 6, 2012, William (husband,

dad and grandfather), passed away

after being with us for 90 beautiful

years. Beloved husband and best

friend of Eva for 62 years. Cherished

father of Joe, Judy (Maurice) and

ever so loving Gedo of John and

Jana. William was a long time

member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian

Catholic Church and the Knights

of Columbus Shashkevych Council

No. 7464. He enjoyed many exciting

and emotional times cheering on his

beloved Tiger-Cats and Maple Leafs.

His kind, caring and gentle nature

will be remembered by all. The

family would like to thank the Grace

Villa staff for the dedicated care and

love, even though it was for a short

time. William felt so loved. Many

thanks to Dr. Mezara and team as

well as Ryan from E3 at the

Juravinski Hospital. Family and

friends are welcome to attend

from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Panachyda

service Sunday at 7 p.m. Funeral

Mass will be celebrated from St.

Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church

(260 Melvin Avenue, Hamilton,

Ontario) on Monday, December 10,

2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to

follow at Mountview Cemetery in

Stoney Creek.
