It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Edward Scriven in his 86th year on March 29, 2016. Predeceased by his wife Jane and his daughter Sandra. Loving father of Janice (Terry), Laurie, George (Nancy) and Kelly Jane. Cherished grandpa of Jennifer, Edward, Nikki, Blair, James and Jesse and great grandpa of Aidan, Griffin, Emily, Noah and Jonah. He is survived by his sisters Joyce, Gena and Marjorie. A special thanks to the staff at Macassa Lodge for their wonderful care they provided to him. The family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, April 4th at 11 a.m. in the chapel. A private family interment will take place in St. George's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes would be greatly appreciated.
