Yakoub Murad

Yakoub was born to Ishak Murad and Dalal Abdulahad on January 7th, 1950. He was a loving Father and husband, and a dedicated man of faith. Yakoub is survived by his loving wife Fahima and his children Elias (Sara), Dalal (Vito), Christine (Rakeeb) and Nisreen (Rafael). His siblings are Sabri, the late Martha, late Mariam, late Wadia and the late Naimah. His maternal uncles were the late Henna Malaki and Sabri Abdulahad. His maternal Aunt was Maryam. Yakoub is further survived by his close cousins Souad, Juliette, Warda, Shamiron, Abdulahad, Samir, Emmanuel and his cousin Samir Gorik. With anguish and sorrow, his family in the Homeland and abroad mourn him.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving father, Yakoub was an amazing grandfather to Kristen, Mya, Yasmine, Zayn, Sebastien and Penelope. Known to his Grandchildren as Jido, he loved spending time with them. Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he chose to share with those who surrounded him.

Yakoub passed away peacefully in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He completed his religious duties on Thursday Evening, August 20th, 2020. His body will be laid to rest on Monday, August 24th, 2020 at 1:00pm. Yakoub’s final resting place will be at; Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens - 700 Chapel Hill Road. Stoney Creek, ON L8J 0B5
