Zora Ann Bitorajac Frankovich

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Zora Frankovich on Monday January 16, 2017 in her 82nd year. Zora was born in Bosiljevo, Croatia on April 26, 1935. Devoted wife of John (Janko) for 64 loving years. Very loving mother of Linda Frankovich and Mario (Jane) Frankovich. Cherished grandmother of Hilary (Sandy) Millar, and Gregory Frankovich (Larissa). Predeceased by brothers Josip and Mato Bitorajac, and her sister Mary (Marica) Mrzljak. Will be sadly missed by beloved nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended family and many friends in Canada and Croatia.

The family will receive loved ones and friends at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday January 19, 2017 from 6-9 pm and Friday January 20, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. Vigil Prayers will be held on Friday at 7:15 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HOLY CROSS CROATIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1883 King Street East on Saturday morning January 21, 2017 at 9 am. Entombment at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. If desired, donations in Zora’s memory to Holy Cross Church, or Svetoga Mavra Opata Bosiljevo would be appreciated.
