

Adrainne E. Heath, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. She was a native of Poquoson, VA and a resident of Hampton for 70 years. Adrainne was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church for 60 years, where she was a choir member and Sunday school teacher. She was a member of the Hampton Women's Club. Adrainne volunteered as a 'Pink Lady' at Hampton General Hospital and Mary Immaculate Hospital, and also at the Wythe area voting polls.
Adrainne was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ella Evans; her husband, Winfred T. Heath; son, Winfred T. Heath, Jr.; two brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by her sons, Stephen E. Heath and wife Patricia, and J.D. Heath and wife Wanda; grandchildren; Deborah L. Heath, Stephen E. Heath, Jr., Abbey H. Cartwright, and David H. Heath; eight great-grandchildren; and five nieces.
The family will receive family and friends on Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, followed with a celebration of Adrainne's life at 3:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. David Cook. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
