April Louise Ratley

April Louise Ratley, 44, of Williamsburg, Virginia, a radiant warm-hearted woman, left us suddenly on Monday, August 4, 2025. Born on April 29, 1981, in Virginia, April was the daughter of the late Marshall DeWitt and Tina Wanda Reed Loveland. She graced this world with kindness, generosity, and an unwavering dedication to the people she loved.

April had a love for all types of music, often filling her home and heart with melodies that matched her joyful spirit. She enjoyed watching crime shows and going to Kohls. She was a strong conversationalist who loved talking to and getting to know others.

She also had a beautiful heart. Selfless by nature, she was always ready to help, listen, or simply be there for someone in need. Her kindness was a gift she shared without hesitation.

April was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall DeWitt Reed and Tina Wanda Reed Loveland.

She leaves to cherish her beloved spouse, James Edward Ratley II, one son, Daniel Roberts, one daughter, Lydia Reed, and two brothers, Donnie Reed (Caitlin), and Floyd Reed (Stacy).

Though she will be deeply missed, a legacy of compassion, strength, and joy will continue to inspire all who knew her.
