Bonnie Galeski Combs

Bonnie Galeski Combs, 79, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013. She was a native of Fleming, Kentucky and a resident of Hampton for many years. Bonnie was a loving homemaker whose focus was her husband and 5 children. She retired from Maida Development.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William Kenneth Combs; children, Betty Alice Godak and husband Pete, William Clifford Combs and wife Sylvia, Mable Ann Pash and husband Billy, Kenneth Leon Combs and wife Vicky, and Mary Jane Ellixson and husband Andrew; grandchildren, Brian, Teri, Jason, Missy, Eric, Miranda, Cody, Christopher, Kimberlyn, Ariel, Ashley, and Sarah; 13 great-grandchildren; twin sister, Betty Galeski; nephews, Barney Ray Galeski and Roger Ambergy.

A celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. The family will receive family and friends following the service until 9:00 pm. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memory Gardens in Abingdon, Virginia.
