Kenny, Suzie, and Eric:
As I get ready to head back to Jones, I am so very saddened because I will not see my good friend there greeting me with her smiling face and open arms. Your mom was avery dear friend of mine or 12 years at Jones. I may not have gotten hired if it wasn't for her! I will miss her presence  in the office, at lunch, or her popping her head in my classroom. We had some wonderful times at Breakfast with Santa and lunches out in town. She will sadly be missed by my 3 children as well.  She had us sing Happy Birthday to my older daughter during her lunch time at Jones and the twins loved to go and see Miss Brenda for some chocolates.   She was always doing great things for people and would stop whatever she was doing to get us what we needed. She will always be remembered as the dear sweet woman she was.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom.  During the 20+ years that I have known her, I can honestly say that she was definitely an angel.  So many times through the years she always was there to give me advice and give me ideas on fundraising when my boys were wrestling.  She was a gem.  My thoughts and prayers are with you. I was so saddened to hear of Brenda's death.  She was always so full of life, it's hard to consider her being gone. I worked with Brenda at Jones and she was a very helpful addition to the office staff.  I will always think of Brenda and popcorn - she munched on it lots and never seemed to gain any weight! Although I only worked with Brenda for one year at Jones, I found her help to be invaluable. She always had a wonderful smile and was always more than willing to help with any question or problem I had. It was clear to me that I was not the exception, she willingly gave of herself to all she encountered at Jones, administrators, teachers, staff, students and parents. Sarah just called with this sad news.  I knew Brenda both from Briar-Queen as team parents of swimmers on the swimming team and from my time at Jones as a sub after I retired from teaching.  She was always a wonderful person and I'm shocked about this sudden event.  May God give you the strength you need during these times.

To Brendas family, I am so glad that i had the opportunity to meet her. She welcomed me to Jones with open arms. She was always laughing and so full of life. I will miss her smile and her stylish clothes and haircuts. The family will stay in my prayers.

      I am truly saddened by the passing of my friend, lunch buddy, and coworker.  Brenda was fabulous!   We worked together, for many years,  organizing the  eighth grade field trip.   Brenda kept me straight on the finances,   If I missed lunch, she would stop by my room to make sure that I was ok.  We talked about our children and grandkids, recipes, vacations, and just junk.   She was special and I truly miss her.

Brenda took such good care of me for the past two years at Jones. She treated me as if I was one of her grand kids. She made me smile every time I came into the office. She would always have a piece of chocolate for me. The school will not be the same without her. I will miss her very much.

I had the pleasure of working with Brenda for seven years at Jones Magnet. She was always so full of life and ready to laugh. Her kindness and thoughtfulness is a legacy she leaves with everyone who was lucky enough to know her. She will be missed.

Your mom was a very special lady... I remember when I use to babysit for Diane Hill when they use to have their Sunday School partys.They use to have great times at Diane's house.. I also kept in touch with her when her son was westler and then at Jones Middle school... She will truly be missed in my book.. she always worried about the other people before her's ... God has a beautiful angler watching over you guys..And she will always be in our heart and you in our prayers....

Kenny, Susie, Eric, I knew you and yet never officially met you. I am a former co-worker of your mom's @ Jones Magnet Middle School, (I retired in 2009)  where I taught for twelve years. When I think of your mom my memory of her is that she was a precious jewel. I know no other way to describe her. One of the kindest people I have ever met (always smiling and willing to help anyone). You all were so dear to her and when she spoke of you, know that you were the greatest kids on earth :)  We shared so much about our families. I was so sadden to hear of her passing but would like to encourage you to remember all the good times that you shared with your mom and know that to a total stranger she always shared how much you and your children were the apples of her eye.

It has been so many years since I have seen your Mom, but we raised our families together at Parkview Baptist. Diane (Pitman) Hill, Joyce (Shaal) Houston, and myself, Cheryl(Campbell) Stafford along with your Mom were usually together and great friends. She was such a caring, compassionate, loving and funny person. Looking back on our friendship years together brings back alot of good memories.
 I pray that God will give you an awesome peace during this time and that the tears of sadness will be quickly replaced with those of joy as you look back on all the wonderful memories of your Mom. She was definitely a wonderful Mom.

Aunt Brenda...words cannot express the grief I am feeling right now.   I will miss you more than you will ever know.  Who will I go to now when I need advice?
