

Brian retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer and retired as the Safety Manager at Perdue Farms in Bridgewater, Virginia. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Waynesboro, Virginia.
Brian was preceded in rest by his father, Shelrell K. Pedigo; his grandparents; and his father-in-law, Pat Mason. He is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Michelle Mason-Pedigo; daughter, Mary Pedigo; son, Will Abruzzese; mother, Betty Cook; brothers, Stephen Pedigo (Cathy), Chet Cook (Shelley), Ben Cook, Jr. (Holly), and Fred Mason (Ruth); stepmother, Charlotte Pedigo; mother-in-law, Joann Mason; and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 28, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the Peninsula SPCA, 523 J. Clyde Morris Boulevard, Newport News, Virginia 23601.
