Byron Lee Jones went to be with his Lord on June 7, 2017. He was a native of Hampton Roads and worked for Snap-On Tools for nearly 30 years, first as a dealer and later as a Field Service Specialist. Byron was known for his laugh, smile, love of guns and old cars. Though health issues plagued him for the past few years, he loved life and his family until the very end. He is no longer in pain and for that we praise God!
Byron was an active member of Northside Christian Church with his family.
He leaves behind his wife, Courtney Russell Jones; mother, Hilda Jones; daughter, Kristy Jones; step-children, Jared Russell, Joel Russell, and Abigail Russell; sister, Linda Jones; and numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family.
The family will receive friends at 1:30 pm, Monday, June 12, 2017 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Byron’s life will start at 2:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
