I just received the news of the loss of Carole.  She was a dear friend to my mother, Helen Whitt who passed in 2003.  I'll never forget how she and John remained an ever presence during her last days and offered their support to all of us.  I am deeply saddened by your loss but I know that she and mom are having lots of good conversation and laughter as I write this.  God Bless you all.  Elizabeth (Beth) Murry....

So sorry for the loss of Carol. She was always a sweet lady to me at the commissary. Always asked about my family and kept me in her prayers while I dealt with the deaths of my mom and son. She will truly be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Carole's passing.  John you and Carole were such a loving couple.  I know you will miss her so much.
Carole was such a lovely person.  I worked at VNB with her too.  I remember many days when she would bring me to your home for lunch.  I loved those egg sandwiches and soup and of course Carole always had to have her coffee.

Oma was the grandma that let you have desert before dinner and gave you something every time you see her. She would always put everyone before herself at our family dinners. But I will always know that she'll be watching me. To help me in a time of need or in a time when i need a lesson. I will never forget her and will always love her. No matter what.

Couldn't have ask for a better Grandmother to my children.  I could always count on her smile when Carole would ask me, "Did you bring your lunch or take the bus?"  I will keep that smile with me.

On the day of October 8th, 1938 a beautiful woman, Carole Ann Simone, was brought into this world.  No matter what each day would bring, her smile never left her face.  On the day of April 16th, 2015 at 76, she left us to become one of God's most beautiful angels.  She was preceded in rest by her daughter Debbie Simone, brother Herbert Bouthner, and parents William and Jessica Bouthner.  She leaves behind a brother Robert Bouthner, her loving husband John P. SimoneSr., 4 children, John P. Simone Jr., Robert N. Simone Sr., Karen A. Stanley, and Susan L. Madon, along with 8 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

Memorial services in honor of Carole's wonderful life, will be held at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home and Cemetery at 2551 N. Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA on Monday April 20th 5-7 PM (Wake), and Tuesday April 21st 1 PM (Burial).

For the time she fought, she fought beautifully, and with bravery, and even though she has left us physically, she will live in our hearts forever.

Peace be with you mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend you will be missed.

My condolences to Carole's family. She was a joy to work with during our time at VNB Sales Finance. I had the pleasure of spending some time with her at the last reunion luncheon.  She truly brightened the day!

   Oh, the many memories through the years! Those wonderful Christmas Eve parties, pool parties, countless celebrations and let's not forget that 'front of the line' fun at Busch Gardens! 
   Not once did I ever see your Mom without that sweet,  gentle smile and that sparkle in her eyes!!! She was always so kind, welcoming and generous!  I feel so grateful to have been a part of your lives though our friendship and to have known her!
   I know it may feel as though your 'rock' has gone but the light and love of your Mother's soul will NEVER leave you!  On days when you feel like falling down, the energy of her soul will help you stand strong!  In solitude, on days when you just want to cry your eyes out because you miss her presence so intensely, the light of her soul will surround and comfort you!  And then, one day, when happy, loving memories begin to flood your heart and mind and you can't help but smile or even laugh, her soul will beam with the light of joy right there with you!!!
   We know that a Mother's love can never die, nor be taken away!  
   My prayer is that these words, that come straight from my heart, find their way into yours and somehow gives you some measure of peace and comfort in the coming days and years ahead.    
   You know I am here for you girlfriend!!!  My love, deepest sympathy and prayers to you and your entire family!
