Bonnie Gainer passed away at home on Thursday, March 1, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was a native of Richmond, VA and was a longtime Peninsula resident. Bonnie retired as an independent insurance agent. She was a member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God.
Bonnie was preceded in death by parents, Cecil and Nellie Tilley. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Stan Gainer; sons, Don Watson and Tom Gainer; daughter, Betsy McFadden; 7 grandchildren, Amanda, April, Heather, Nick, Amber, Megan and Kyle; 7 great-grandchildren, Sean, Aaron, Hailey, Abigail, Seth, Kamrin and Emily; and brothers, Steve Tillery and Buck Tillery.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm on Sunday, March 4, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Bonnie's life will then follow at 2 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
