

Nana was born on January 3, 1944, in Mobile, Alabama to Robert Louis and Helen Marguerite Weil Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Patsy Cline, and brother Hank Williams. She had been a resident of Hampton, Virginia since 1972.
On May 25, 1962 she married the love of her life Robert “Bob” Ervin Caricofe. They enjoyed 47 years of marriage until Bob’s passing in 1999. Together they raised three daughters. Bob and Claudia were members of The Two Steppin’ Panhandlers, and Leather & Lace country dance groups.
Nana was known for her love of crafting, sewing, and quilting. She worked for the Department of Defense for more than 30 years, and retired in 2008. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Fox Hill. She was a devoted member of the Searchers Sunday School class and served on Martha Ministries. She also served on the nursery committee when her girls were younger.
Nana leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters Tanya Marie (Raymond) Ammons; Cynthia Louise (Michael) Martoni, and Sandra Deneen (David) Neill. She adored her nine grandchildren, Joshua Isaac (Kristen) Feury, Jacob Ryan Caricofe (Bill Long), Daniel Edward Feury, Brandi Jayne Ammons, Kari Michele Ammons, Kenneth Thomas Gulbronson, Hope Elizabeth Gulbronson, Matthew Robert Feury, and William Ray Gulbronson. She also leaves two great-grandchildren, Kaiden Nicholas and Scarlet Grace Feury.
A Service of Life, Death, and Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. Family will receive friends prior to the service at 9:00 A.M. Friends are invited back to First United Methodist Church of Fox Hill at 1 Salt Pond Road, Hampton, VA 23664 immediately following interment.
