David was preceded in death by his parents, Dewell and Cassie Guye; and two brothers, Ted M. Guye and Michael D. Guye. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 57 years, Jeannette E. C. Guye; three children, Gary Guye and wife, Dawn of Yorktown, Pam Cross and husband, Alan of Newport News, and Greg Guye and wife, Mary of Fairfield, CA; one brother, Ronald L. Guye of Richmond; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews along with many friends, and his beloved “Sophie.”
A memorial service will be held to celebrate David’s life at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. A burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18 at Parklawn Memorial Park.
