Debra L. Geist

Debbie was born in Texas on October 4, 1952. Her father was in the Air Force so her early years were spent traveling. The family eventually settled in Hampton, Va. Debbie graduated from Bethel High School in 1970 and continued her education at Virginia Tech and Christopher Newport College. She was a resident of the Peninsula for 40 years. For the past ten years, she was a partner at Bridge Computer Solutions.

Debbie enjoyed reading and playing games. As a single parent, she was devoted to and raised a fine young man in her son, Dayle.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Joan Geist. She is survived by her son, Dayle R. Geist, brother John R Geist (Marylee) and niece Stephanie P. Geist.

The family would like to thank her dear friend, Julia Walters for her loving care during the course of Debbie’s final journey to be with her Lord.

A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, July 15, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home.
