

Alise was a loving wife and mother, and she was dedicated to missions and serving others in the Lord's work. She loved to cook, take pictures, and spend time talking to her friends and family. She never met a stranger, and she always tried to find the good in everyone. Her faith in God is a true testimony to everyone she touched. She had a way of making her loved ones feel like they were the most important person on earth, and she will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John "Pete" Freeman; son, John Freeman Jr.; and brothers: Bob Huffman and Reggie Dalton.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Linda, Denise, Jim, Robert, and Tommy; grandchildren: Meghan, Evan, T.J., and Matthew; great-grandchildren: Makenzie, Cora, Lainey, Rhoades, and Asher; brother, Ray; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will welcome friends on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 North Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA 23666. A celebration of life for Alise will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Huntington Mennonite Church, 785 Harpersville Road, Newport News, VA 23601, followed by an interment at Parklawn Memorial Park, 2551 North Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA 23666. Lastly, a reception will conclude services at Huntington Mennonite Church.
