Born on July 7, 1930 in Mount Rainier, Maryland, Ed was the son of Richard Edward Rothman and Lelia Julia Rothman.
He served in the US Navy as a radarman. After his military service, he earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and served the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Special Agent.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, an unnamed infant, Claude Earnest Rothman, Burton Rothman, and Richard Roy Rothman; his wife of 57 years, Laura Sayre Rothman; and his wife of 13 years, Virginia Ann Rothman.
He is survived by his daughters, Laura Rothman Leslie (John) and Elizabeth Rothman Hernandez (Abel); his grandchildren, Tyler Camden Leslie, Lauren Leslie Stewart (Joshua), and Edward Hernandez (MacKenzie); and his great grandson, Jude Arthur Stewart.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM February 19 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral home with a visitation at 9:00 AM.
