Else JP Brown

Else JP Brown, 70, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014. She was born in Newburgh, NY and was a resident of Hampton for many years. Else was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was always telling stories of when the kids were younger, and no matter how many times she told you, it was as if it was the first time. She could watch her crime shows over and over again. She enjoyed having her grandbabies come in and out of her room and would fuss at them when they got to be too much. She is in a better place and is no longer in pain and hopefully walking in heaven. A brilliant light has left us a little darker; it would be her greatest joy to see us all a little brighter for her.

Else is preceded in death by two brothers, James and Patrick. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, “G” Gary Brown; sons, William and Charlie; daughter, Carrie; grandchildren, Alexander, Tyler, Aaron, Alizia, Jessica, and William; brother, Phil; son-in-law, Matthew; and daughter-in-law, Samar.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 4:00 PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home.
