Deeply shocked to hear of the loss of Fran. Just recently found  out and even more disarming as I had just been realeased from hospital after my own coronary problems. I remeber Fran as a conciencous co-worker, lover of family and a true lover of all God's creatures. Surely a true loss to all family, friends and animals that she had adopted.  Mike Waters

Hearing about Fran’s passing was such a shock, because her indomitable spirit always made her seem larger than life with immense strength of self.  I’m so saddened to hear of her untimely loss, and my thoughts are with the family in this difficult time.  Know that when you are kind to an animal, vocal in defense of righting a wrong situation, or lending a shoulder to a friend in need, you are carrying on Fran’s legacy.

So very sorry for the loss of Fran! She left everyone too early! I will always cherish the years myself and Kristin had with the family and o lf course the challenge all of you gave me to eat a whole lemon meringue pie! God bless you and you are in my prayers!

 I'm so sorry to hear of Fran's passing.  My sincere condolences to the Mangum family.  May all your happy memories comfort you during this sad time.  My love and thoughts are with you today. 

It is hard to believe that you are gone. I am waiting for the "whats for dinner" text, or let's run some errands and do lunch at one of the places you and mom just discovered.  My prayers are with your family and your mom, as they all miss you so much, and well as your 4 legged babies...It has been my pleasure to be with your mom and support your family, you would have done the same and you knew, I had your back. I know some many were there to meet you on rainbow bridge..luv you my friend

Fran u will be missed dearly! I hope u are with the Angels in heaven . This was all so unexpected and so sudden it is just heartbreaking that such a wonderful soul has been taken. We love you and u will be missed.

Fran and I met in 4th grade at South Morrison Elementary School and became instant friends.  We remained friends for all these years.  We became adults and ended up living two houses apart.  Eventually we both found jobs at the City of Newport News and saw each other often.  I will truly miss my dear friend and give my sincerest condolences to her family and friends.  May she continue to rest with the Lord until we meet again......

Our heart goes out to the family of Fran. May God wrap his loving arms around her sweet momma & all of her family & bring them comfort. Sending our love & prayers.
