If I had anything to say about Gladys, I would say"what you see you get:a very precious friend at Boulevard Baptist church many years ago,we did visitation together including nursing homes where she would teach and i did piano so residents could sing Gladys was a wonderful testimony for the cause of Christ, We will meet again!Peggy Bennett Abingdon , Va

Oh my, what memories came flooding back from Boulevard Bapist!  She was our Sunday school teacher and I remember Walter too. What a wonderful testimony she was and yes, she always had a smile! You're up in Heaven shouting now!  See you there :)

Sorry to hear of her passing. I always liked teasing her about Jeff Gordon. She was fun to be around, I don't ever remember her not having a smile on her face.

So sorry to heat of your mother's passing. Your family was so loved by me while I was a nurse at Suburban Clinic. Your mother was one of the most beautiful Ladies I have ever met--as someone mentioned southern charm and she certainly had that. She had so much class without even trying--you have to be born with this type of class I think, she lived a long life and suffered many losses the ones I know the pain of was your Father and Steven. You all were good children and showed your love for her. Gladys RIP for you certainly touched my life--that beautiful face and smile has certainly made Heaven a more beautiful place

Bev and I always enjoyed our time with Gladys at family gatherings.  I remember shooting a family photo at Jeremy' and Lesa's and thinking at the time how special for the little grandchildren to have a great grand parent in their life.  She was always full of life and had an entertaining story to share.  I could see that she enjoyed watching the little ones play around her feet. Donnie would pick at her and she'd always come right back at him, with something just as funny and absurd. Gladys was blessed to have such a loving, devoted family, who included her in family celebrations when she was well, and visited her often and looked after her her every need during these final few months of her life.  Rest in peace, Gladys... May her memories bring you joy.  Love you and God Bless......

Pat and I Love each one of you we will always cherish the times and memories that we had we each of you and Pray that God will put his arms around each of you and comfort you in this time of sadness. We are so saddened to hear of her passing. What a beautiful lady she was...cherish the memories of her and she will always be with you.

Aunt Galdys was a very special person, she had the ability to make anyone feel special. I will always remember her laugh, what a way to brighten your day. She had all that southern charm that made you melt and feel at home right away. I will miss you very much, God Bless.

Aunt Gladys was very special to me while I was growing up and into adulthood.  She was more like a big sister since she was only 13 years older.  She was a beautiful lady whom I admired and looked up.  She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
