He retired from the Newport News Shipyard after over 25 years as a welder and finished his career with Advex Corporation. He was a volunteer with the Boys and Girl Scouts and was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed coaching basketball and was a baseball coach for Hampton Little League.
Glen was preceded in rest by his parents; sister, Ann Marie Bragg Privigyi; and brother, Johnny Byrd Bragg. He is survived by his son, Glen Basil Bragg III; daughter, Dawn Marie Bragg Knapper; and brother, Joseph P. Bragg, Sr.
A celebration of Glen’s life will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the funeral home.
