Hazel Moore, 82, a native of Heartland, Alabama and near lifelong resident of the Hampton area went to be with her Lord on January 27, 2011. She attended Liberty Baptist Church and was a member of the Red Hatters and Lake Gaston Flower Clubs.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonard Moore.
Hazel was the loving mother and is survived by her sons, Larry Ingram, Tommy Ingram; daughters, Brenda Wiggins, Betty Mazor, both of Lake Gaston, North Carolina, and Linda Stutt of Hampton; her brother, Edward Huckeba of Newport News; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A graveside committal will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 30 in Parklawn Memorial Park in Hampton.
Hazel’s grandsons, Larry Ingram, Jr., David Ingram, Richard Ingram, Donnie Ingram, Michael Stutt, Jody Stutt, Darin Wiggins and Brian Mazor will be honored to serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are under the care of Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N Armistead Ave., Hampton, VA 23666.
