

Hilah Franklin Terrell, age 81, of Hampton, VA died on Sunday, September 2, 2012. She was born January 23, 1931 in Lexington, VA to the late Dove Scott Franklin and Edward James Franklin, Sr. She was a longtime resident of Hampton; attended Wythe Junior High School; was a member of West Hampton Baptist Church and attended Liberty Baptist Church.
Hilah was also preceded in death by her brother, Edward James Franklin, Jr. She is survived by her lifelong companion, Nick Autolino of Hampton and his children and grandchildren, Anthony Autolino of Avellino, Italy (Laura and Nicola), Vincent Autolino (Nicole Brown and husband Derrick of Manteo, NC), and Christopher Autolino of Newport News; and great-granddaughters, Julia Burns and Madison Brown of Manteo, NC. She also leaves to cherish her memory her sisters, Juanita Armstrong Brower (Chester) and Doris Franklin Walczak (Richard) of Hampton, Karen Snead Napier (Roger) of Stuarts Draft, VA; and brother, Ronnie Franklin (Joyce) of Newport News.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, September 6 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A Celebration of Hilah's life will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hampton-Veterans Memorial Gardens.
