
Born in McMinnville, TN, Mr. Byars, served in U.S. Army, (tour of Korean War), retired from U.S. Air Force (2) tours in Viet Nam and completed life of service as Civilian Personnel at Navy Base in Norfolk, Va.
Mr. Byars enjoyed sports of all types. Also, enjoyed mini putt putt! Mr. Byars enjoyed all Church Services.
Mr. Byars will continue watch over: Son, James L. Byars, Jr., Daughter:Patricia Migliore (Pino), Granddaughter: Erica Campbell (David), Grandsons: Dexter (Jessica) Horton, Corey (Jessica)Horton , Robbie Horton and Jaymz Horton. Great Grandsons: Skyler Horton(Kali Roberts), Lucas Campbell and Ryder Horton. Great Great Grandsons: Cameron and Leland Horton. Great Granddaughters: Clare Moore & Scarlett Horton. Nephews: Ricky Blair (Vickie) and Jeff Blair (Angie). Granddaughters: Kim Clayton (David Williams) Tina Willis and Good Friend:Tim Hesselbach.
Mr. Byars was proceeded to Heaven by loving wife, Debbie Byars, dedicated Daughter, Sandie Windley, loving Granddaughter: Anneliese Milissa Moore & cherished nephew: Randall Blair.

Memorial Service will be officiated by Pastor Phillip Harper: Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 3-p.m. at First Calvary Baptist Church (162 Alleghany Rd., Hampton, Va. 23661).
