John Edward Tucker, 84, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013. He was a native of Cairo, Illinois and had 9 siblings. John resided in Hampton for 41 years. A Korean War veteran, John retired from the US Air Force after 24 years of service.
Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Melitta H. Tucker. He is survived by his son, John E. Tucker, Jr (Sarah) of Yorktown; daughters, Melitta Tucker of Hampton and Linda Estep of VA Beach; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild;
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Monday, September 23rd, 2013, at Hampton National Cemetery.
