John Francis Williams was the second child born son between the late Elizabeth (Betty) Williams and the late Leon Dotson on September 2, 1963, in Bristol, Pennsylvania. He departed this earthly life on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 60 years of age.
John had a big heart and smile. He was a lover of words and expressed it through various self-composed poems. Throughout his life, he was known for writing poetry for loved ones and even reciting them. It was also through his words that he ministered to others, desiring to draw them to the Lord. He “hit the block by the blood of the lamb and the word of his testimony” to show God’s grace and mercy saves all. John was involved in numerous ministries through his church, Rooted Community Church.
Besides being a fisher of men as God called him to be, John loved to fish for fish. The peacefulness of nature brought him joy. The tug on a fishing line and reeling in his prize brought thrill and excitement, even when he simply released it back into the water. All that knew John, knew that he was in his happy place with a fishing pole in hand.
