She was born in Hampton, Virginia on July 31, 1951, and raised by Ralph and Marie Daube, until she met the love of her life, John Lawrence Jr., and found her calling helping people as a physical therapy assistant.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Jon Lawrence Jr., and her son, Sean (Cara) Fitzgerald. She is also survived by her siblings Jack (Patty) Daube, Patty (Ted) Lewis, Nancy Britton, Tim (Cindy) Daube, and Joan (Jimmy) Lyons; her siblings in law Candy (Cecil) Broughman, Patti (John) Sawyer, and Ellen Ramsey. She is preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Dale Daube.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and each memory with her will be cherished as a fresh rose would be.
