He served our country in the US Navy serving on the USS Pawcatuck AO-108 and then working for the Newport News shipyard as a pipefitter retiring after 37 years.
Wade was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Violet Josephine Sumner; both parents; his sister and many other loved family members.
He is survived by his two daughters, Tammy Slowikowski (Steve) and Keli Wyatt-Williams (Jonathan); three granddaughters, Kelleena Phillips, Ashley Vaughn (Belieu), and Andrea Cline (Brian); and two great grandsons, Alexander Kelley and Matthew Reid Cline.
A graveside service will be held on Monday November 24th at 1:00 p.m. at Parklawn Memorial Garden.
