Kimberly Ann Forbes-Brinkley, 36, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012, after a long battle with MS. She was a native of Norfolk, Virginia and a resident of Hampton for 2 ½ years. Kimberly was employed with GEICO as a recruiting specialist and retired after 8 years of service. She was a member of Norview Baptist Church.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen K. Forbes, and her Pawpa, Carl Broome, Sr. She is survived by her husband of 7 years, Myron Brinkley; mother, Donna Forbes; brothers, John Forbes, Brett Dameron and wife Charlotte, and Brian Dameron; sister, Kelly Kuster and husband Derek; grandmother, Francis Broome; nephews, Dayne, Kyle, Kyler, and Landon; nieces, Karle, Elizabeth, and Alayna; mother-in-law, Lennie Brinkley; father-in-law, Max Brinkley; and her dogs, Chance and Angel.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 15, 2012, at Norview Baptist Church, 1127 Norview Avenue, in Norfolk, with a celebration of Kimberly's life to begin at 1:00 pm, officiated by Pastor Michael Smith.
