Larry was always very active even with his disability of being paralyzed from the waist down due to an injury from many years ago.
Larry lived by himself in Newport News, Virginia. He was an avid Bingo goer, loved to do to thrift shipping for items, sometimes he would just like to go and look. Larry never met a stranger, he would always speak to all people, anywhere and loved to joke about his disability, calling it “handicapable”.
Larry is survived by his brothers, Gary Lee, Terry Joseph, and Gerald Keith; sister, Debbie Grimmet. Larry is also survived by his cousin, Samuel Fowler and family being his caregiver for many years. They were like brothers, not cousins. Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Hatfield Rosenbaum; brother, James Howard Hatfield; father, John Lee Hatfield.
Larry’s final wishes were to be cremated, there are to be no services at this time.
