Laura had most recently been a baker with Fresh Market. She was a member of Hilton Baptist Church. Her love of water led her to enjoy being at the beach and fishing. Her greatest hobby and passion was being a Pokémon enthusiast.
Her maternal grandparents, Ben and Elizabeth Kennington and several close friends preceded Laura in rest. She is survived by her husband of nine years, Matthew S. Van Alstine; daughter, Summer Ann Van Alstine; parents, Larran and Ann Eppard; paternal grandparents, Billy and Mae Eppard; and a host of extended family members.
The family will receive friends 5:00 to 9:00 pm, Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Laura’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 8, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
