Lillian Marie Roby Chenoweth

Lillian Marie Roby Chenoweth, 72, passed away on September 25, 2013. She was a native of Boston, Massachusetts and a resident of Newport News. She worked for Maida Dev. and retired in September 1999 after 29 years of service. She later became the manager at Circle Mobile Home.

Lillian was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian A. Goullett Roby. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Eugene J. Chenoweth, Jr.; daughters, Anita M. Chenoweth Stout, JoAnn M. Chenoweth Barnard and husband Robert F. Barnard; grandchildren, Keith J. Stout and wife Davida Marinda, Robert F. Barnard, II and wife Stacia Lynn, Anthony S. Barnard and wife Jasmine Victoria, Nicole Leigh Mendoza and husband Herman Eugene, Steven Joseph Barnard, and James Sebastian Barnard; great-grandchildren, Dustin Lee Stout, Aubrey Marie Barnard, Robert Frederick Barnard, III, and William Shane Barnard; sisters, Carol LaFleur and husband Robert, and Rita Themuda and beloved late husband Michael; special family friends, Bill and Sandra Kerlin; and the many friends from the Circle Mobile Home Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at the funeral home, with Rev. Fr. Donald J. Cavey officiating.
