Patricia Lurene Rives Call, 64, passed away unexpectedly March 22, 2019 at her home in Hampton, VA. She was born November 6,1954 in Leesburg, VA to the late James R.Rives, Jr. and Flora Baxter Rives of Purcellville, VA.
She spent her childhood at home in Purcellville, and was a graduate of Loudoun Valley High School there. She then attended and finished schooling at John Robert Powers School of Fashion and Finishing in Alexandria, VA.
Ms.Call worked various jobs after moving to the Hampton, VA area in the 70’s. She was active in church activities and loved singing and making beautiful crafts for friends and family. Her musical talents were enjoyed by many who knew her.
She is survived by her brother James R. Rives,III (Linda),Leesburg, VA, sisters Carolyn Funkhouser (Gary),College Station, TX, Jeannie Misenheimer (Tony), Rockwell, NC, and sister-in-law Cindy Rives, Winter Haven, FL; her beloved daughters Kristen Call (Terrance Johnson) and Jessica Call (Giovanny Duque). She is also survived by her grandchildren Olivia, Kayden, Jahkai and Janaisis, many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents and brother Kenneth B. Rives of Charlestown, WV.
Ms. Call will be cremated and a special Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 6th at 11AM at Calvary Assembly of God in Hampton, VA.
