Margaret Anne Posey Gengo, 66, passed away at home on Sunday, June 14, 2015. She was born in Newport News, grew up in Hampton, moved about the country with her husband Dan, and then settled in Hampton for the past 22 years. She was a dedicated LPN and retired after 14 years of service.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick R. and Mildred L. Posey and her brothers, Donald, Dwayne and Richard Posey. She is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, Daniel T. Gengo; brother, Gary Posey and wife Joanne of Toano; and sister, Renee Jacobik of Lehigh Acres, FL.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 20, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
