Maggie, was one of the most incredible people I have ever known. She was always there for you when you needed her. She was ready to listen give you guidance and help anyway she could. She helped make many people and ( me) look for the good in things. Making  sure you were the best you could be. The things she taught most people would shape the rest of there life. Life is short and I know because of her my life, my marriage , and my children are better because of her teachings.
She will solely be missed but, the world is a better place because of her!

I’ve known Maggie Strickrodt for 50 years. That’s seems incredible because I remember the very day she turned 50 because she came into my office and said “I’ve just passed this ok lady in the mirror out there in the hallway and I didn’t recognize her- it’s me!” 
I worked with Maggie at Leggett Department Stores in Norfolk/VirginiaBeach/Chesapeake until she retired. We’ve remained remarkably close ever since.
She is a “saint” and I mean that in the most respectful of ways. Her sainted spirit has always cared for others before herself. She is a gifted spirit of compassion, love, and insight. She loves and adores her two girls, and is over the moon excited to ever speak of her grandchildren and great grands. 
We will forever miss her, but in our hearts she will always be our friend and with us in heart and soul forever. 
God bless you dear friend. Our prayers and condolences for your family.
