Maria Grazia Faraci

Maria was born on October 26, 1933 and grew up in Borgetto, Palermo, Italy. In 1967, Maria left Italy and moved to Australia. She remained there until 1974, when she and her family emigrated to the United States and settled in Queens, New York. In 2000, Maria relocated to Hamilton, NJ and lived there until 2017, when she moved to Hampton, Virginia. It is there that she remained until her passing.

Maria was a homemaker, raising her four children. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, embroidery, and knitting. She enjoyed music and dancing. She loved spending time with her family; especially her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Angelo Faraci; her sister, Paola; her brother, Santo. Maria is survived by her children, Salvatore Faraci and his wife, Maria, Antonino Faraci and his wife, Filomena, Josephine Semilia and her husband, Rocco and Rosa Semilia and her husband, David. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home in Manchester, NJ. A service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Our Lady of Sorrows/St. Anthony in Hamilton, NJ, with Entombment at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton Township, NJ. to follow.
