Marie Francis White

Marie was a sweet and gentle wife, mom, and grandma who will leave a special place in our hearts forever. She always put others before herself. She loved to cook for the whole family, play cards, bingo, and would enjoy playing her guitar. She had a great sense of humor and a beautiful smile. She loved her family, neighbors, and friends from all over.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years of marriage Robert S. White; children Robert White, Al White (Betty), Charlie White (Debbie), and Connie Glazer (Chip); her brother Nicky of Inverness, Florida; and her 12 grandchildren Ronnie, Michael, Steven, Julie, Chris, Crystal, Shawn, Sarah, Scott, Caitlyn, Theresa, and Allen; and her 13 great-grandchildren Robbie, Ally, Chloe, Peyton, Casey, Kendra, Brett, Austin, Christina, Christiana, Madisyn, Michael Jr, and Hollie.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents Sylvester and Ida LiPetri, and son Brian Travis White.

Marie was a member of Fox Hill Road Baptist Church and was involved with The Woodmen of the World.

Special thanks to the “Dynamic Trio” from Hospice: Debbie, Kathy and Kasey. It was a blessing to have you all there when Marie gained her wings and became a beautiful angel in heaven.

Thanks to all of Marie’s family and friends for the thoughts, prayers, cards, flowers and food.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 15, from 6 to 8 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave., Hampton, VA 23666. Funeral services will be Friday, January 16, at 2:00pm at Fox Hill Road Baptist Church with burial to follow at ParkLawn Memorial Park.
