Mary Rose Gillard, 67, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012. She was born in Woking, Surrey, England and was a resident of Newport News since 1980. She enjoyed flower gardening, particularly with African violets.
Mary is survived by her husband of 42 years, Lionel Gillard; children, Andrew Faulkner, Jonathon Gillard, Asa Gillard, Michelle Gillard-Paradis and Wendy Gillard; six grandchildren; mother; Florence Maude Gowler; and sister, Shirley Bollen.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home.
