Melvin Clinton Gilreath

Melvin was a member of Pine Chapel Baptist Church. After a career spanning 40 years with NASA as an electrical engineer he retired in 1999.

Surviving members of his family include his wife of 60 years, Pauline Gilreath; children, Mike Gilreath (Gina), Lynn Small (Steve), and Lynda McCullough (Nicole); grandchildren, Matthew Gilreath, Justin Palkowitz, and Brooke Small; and great-grandchild, Arianna.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am, Monday, May 7, 2018 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home and Memorial Park. Following the visitation, a celebration of Melvin’s life will be held at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
