Pamela Kay Ross passed away December 31, 2018. Our dear, sweet Pam lost her battle with mental illness and is no longer fighting the demons that have consumed her life. She's now free to spread her feisty, glittery soul across the universe.
Pam loved the Virginia Tech Hokies, some good Maker’s Mark bourbon, her nieces and nephews, her mom Pat, her family and her dog Sasha. She was a graduate of Averett University, a proud Phi Sig, a fiercely loyal friend and a funny, spirited soul. She has left a huge hole in our lives and we will always remember her in our hearts.
Pam leaves behind her mother, Pat, her dog Sasha, her sister Laurie and nephew Danny, her brother Chuck, his wife Patsy and nephews Brandon and Clay, her sister-in-law Penny and niece Shelby and her ex-husband Troy. She also leaves behind a host of true, loyal friends and a legion of pageant girls whom she cheered on and adopted as her special nieces.
Pam wished to have no memorial service at this time. A burial of her ashes will occur in the spring, on her birthday March 30 in Studley, Virginia. Everyone who loved and cared for her will be welcome to attend. In lieu of any flowers, please make a donation to Averett University or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and tell someone today that you love them.
