Para Lee Tucker

Para Lee was a native of Tennessee but was a resident of Virginia most of her life. That is where she met the love of her life, Frank Tucker, and spent 61 years as his devoted wife, before he passed in 2009.

Para Lee Tucker was predeceased by her parents: John Blankenship and Carrie Parham; husband, Frank E. Tucker Sr.; and daughter, Rosa Linda Tucker.

She is survived by her son, Frank E. Tucker Jr. (Kathryn) of Bells Island, NC; grandchildren: William F. Rowe Jr. (Sandra) of Hampton; Shannon Rowe; Ashley Tucker of Chesapeake; Stephanie Gross (Chris) of Trophy Club, TX; and Haley Pflanzer Molmer (Justin) of Portsmouth; along with many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Para’s love for family was immeasurable, and she enjoyed cooking for family and holiday gatherings. After dedicating most of her life to raising her children, she started a career with Anheuser Busch later in life that spanned over 20 years. Para has touched so many lives and will forever be missed.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 2551 North Armistead Avenue Hampton, VA 23666. A celebration of life service will commence at 12:00 PM, followed by entombment.
