Mrs. Peggy Overby Bruss

Peggy Overby Bruss, 72 of Hampton, passed away on April 6, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born on January 29, 1950 to the late Ernest and Elva Overby. Peggy was also preceded in death by her brother Larry Overby.

Peggy was a lifetime member of Langley Baptist Church. She loved going to yard sales and thrift stores and especially spending time with her family. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 50 years, Dennis, her children, Derek (Connie), Denise (Eric). She is also survived by her siblings, Barbara (Darrel), Jerry (Mary Jane), Deborah (Jimmy), Kevin (Janene) Roger. Her grandchildren Kyle, Erika (Dougie), and Shelby. Her great-grandchildren, Bentley, Madilynn, and Paisley. As well as her nieces and nephews, Wesley (Becky), Casey (Christina), Jim, Bryan, Roseanne, Amanda, Alexandra, and Ryan.

The viewing is Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 6:00-8:00PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, located at 2551 N. Armistead Ave. Hampton, Va. 23666.

The graveside service is Thursday April 14, 2022 at 11:00AM at Parklawn Memorial Park, located at 2551 N. Armistead Ave. Hampton, Va. 23666 The ceremony to be conducted by Pastor David Pace.

The family will receive friends at Langley Baptist Church immediately following the graveside service to celebrate Peggy's life.
