Happy Birthday Daddy.  We know you're resting well by God's side.

Always on our minds and forever in our hearts; you were in every holiday thought.  Still missing you.

I've begun to remember not just that you died, but that you lived and loved. I remember that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.  I remember that today would be our 65th wedding anniversary and I wish R.I.P. meant return if possible.  Loving memories of you are always in my heart.

It's THAT day you became another soul in the sky! You have gone no farther than to God.  God is very near.  Always wishing you were here in body AND soul.  Enjoy paradise until we all get there.

Year One. Anyone who puts a timeline on grief has never lost a piece of their heart. We will not stay in grief; even though it never ends, it does change.  We are happy your soul was set free. Spending eternity with God is greater than all the moments we've treasured here on earth.  Loss teaches us about the worth of things and grief is the price of love.

Daddy I took your advice got rid of my anger, My latter is gonna be better that couldn't be plainer. Your death still hurts me, I just hold on to the fact you are now free. As I cry and write these words, I recall my visit from my bluebird, A symbol of happiness and heavenly realms all of a sudden I'm overwhelmed.....with all the love direction and protection you gave throughout my years, I wipe away my tears, with a smile on my face...I thank GOD for his mercy and grace..I LOVE YOU DADDY...yo Baby girl.

I'm thinking of you, wishing you were here.          
I'm thinking of you, it's just somewhat unclear. How I could be so selfish wanting you near.  Your pain is gone,  I'm left with a tear......that will forever fall from my eye until l die. I LOVE YOU DADDY...missin you.

Month Eleven. The only way to live, is to accept each minute as it really is-an unrepeatable miracle.  Too dearly loved to be forgotten.

Month Ten. The sadness of the last 299 days is locked and set in time. Moving to the future has been a slow and painful climb. However, the ache that is now so vivid and so real, can't hold its fresh intensity as time begins to heal. No wound so deep will ever go entirely away, yet the hurt becomes less heartbreaking each and every day. Always remembering your love, courage, gratitude, calmness, charity and faith.......even as you left us.

Month Nine.  Grief changes us.  The pain sculpts us into someone who understands more deeply; hurts more often; appreciates more quickly; cries more easily; hopes more desperately; loves more openly.  There is a hole in the world.  It's where you used to be.

You know I am terribly sad I lost my dad. I want to talk to him; hear him laugh. Now that's just a memory, it's all in the past. I cry so many tears because I think of all the good times over the years.  I need him so much right now. I've got some things going on that I just want his opinion on; you know, wow. I never dreamed of this moment, you know, when he would die.  I have no right to ask why. We all are going to have to face it at some time. It just hurts so bad for those who are left behind.

Month 8.  34 weeks; 244 days; 5,856 hours; 351,360 minutes; 2,108,1600 seconds..... and counting. Always missing you Daddy.

Month seven.  Silent whispers, lonely tears; with all our hearts, we wish you were here.

Month six. The grief doesn't end, but it does change.  It truly is a passage. Our sense of loss is giving way to gratitude for the value of the life you lived.  Always loving and missing you.

Month five. Managing the pain and sorrow as days turn to weeks and then months. Loving you now as ever. Missing you more.

Month four.  Time passes, memories stay. Daddy, you're missed, loved and remembered this Christmas and EVERY day.

Month three.  Thinking of you as your birthday approaches daddy.  No presents to give you, no wishes sincere, only the heartache of not having you near.  Time heals nothing.

You saw me take my first breath and I saw you take your last.  If love could have saved you; you would have lived forever.

Month Two. It never gets easy; it just gets different as we try to adjust to life without you.  Who can ever love us like you did? We cherish precious memories of you. We miss you terribly.

In tears we saw you sinking.
We watched you fade away.
Our hearts were totally broken;
you fought so hard to stay.
Only when we saw you sleeping -
so peaceful, so far from pain.
We could not wish you back
to suffer that again.

Through every dark night there is a brighter day.

Always loving and missing you daddy!

No longer by my side but forever in my heart.  Still loved, still missed, memories eternally cherished until my own final breath.  Happy 64th wedding anniversary PD.

Truly missing a great man who taught me so much.  Every time I create something I'm proud of I'll remember you. You'll always hold a special place in my heart.

Month One.  Death has taught us many lessons. The most important being..love is everlasting. The fact that you are no longer here will always cause us pain...love is stronger than pain.  Our memories and your legacy will always be there to light the way for us.  You are always in our hearts. That's where you live.

A lifetime of loving memories stored up in our hearts, to take out and live again whenever the tears start.

I never ask for miracles,
but today just one would do.
To see the front door open and
see our DAD walk through. 

Missing you is something that will never go away.

The Winton family connection was strong. 3 Granger court is a 2nd home. My heart was heavy when I found out you went to join daddy(Nic). You 2 were a rock in your family guiding all of us children,grandchildren, and great grads.God always takes the best, you will be missed greatly. but our fun memories will keep us going.
