He attended Bethel High School in Hampton, VA and was in the 1st graduating class in 1970. This is where he met the love of his life Mary, where they dated, and would eventually marry on July 10, 1971.
He enjoyed watching NASCAR, football, hockey, and loved camping. He is a two time Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge #366 of Hampton and past District Deputy.
He is survived by wife, Mary; his children: Philip Jr. (Lori Stoklosa), Paul C. (Rebecka) Hall Sr., Penny (Bryon) Smith, and Patrick Hall; grandchildren, Robert, Ashton, Victoria, Paul Jr., Dylan, Landen, Rosalie, Bryana, Reed, Cole, William, and Maverick; great-grandson, DJ (son of Victoria).
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Reed; mother, Irene; brother, Leon; and sister, Nell.
