I'm so sorry to hear of your family's loss. I didn't know Scott, but heard about him from Mrs. (Helen) West. I've grown so fond of Mrs. West, my dear friend and neighbor of only a year and a half. I feel like I've known her all my life. Being around her, I feel like I'm with family. An amazing and strong woman who I admire. I wish there were words I could say to help. I'm sending out prayers of comfort and peace for my precious friend and her family.

Scott was a great co-worker and a big REDSKINS fan we often talked about our lives and what was going on and you could count on Scott to be there and listen and give you the support you needed.In these times of loss GOD is there for the family and friends may GOD give you peace in the days to come.

I have many great memories of Scott while working with him at the shipyard, so many laughs and good times...what an awesome guy.  Scott was a good man and a good friend.

So sorry to hear of Scott passing. I worked with Scott for years on 3rd shift. The last time I saw him was on one of his walks from one end of the shipyard to the other. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Scott was a good co-worker but much better friend. I enjoyed our aircraft carrier days working together in QID. 

During this time of grief and reflection I pray the Lord's peace and comfort for the entire West family.

I worked with Scott on a special project at Newport News Shipbuilding using a new inspection method.  We worked together about 13 hours a day, 7 days a week, for two weeks until the project was successfully completed.  It was the first of its kind for the US Navy.  Scott's inspection experience and deck plate leadership were instrumental in our success.  I'll miss him.

My thoughts and prayers are with Chris' sand Her family.

So sorry for your lose. It had been a long time since I had seen Scott but I remember always having a good time when ever he was around.  Ed Mel and Jared.

I enjoyed working with Scott. I was assigned as his supervisor for a period and he brought enjoyment to our group an in the office. He was always the professional and very good at what he did. So glad I had the opportunity to get to know Scott, and work with him. The Quality Department/Division has lost a real quality person. Will miss him.

Uncle Scott I love you and miss you. Wish I would have brought Audrie to see you. Your in a better place. Aunt Chris you know I'm always here.

Scott was a real funny guy and always had an easy smile. My thoughts go out to his family. He'll be missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Dear Chris, Robert and I are so sorry to hear about Scott. Remembering the fun times we had years ago on the "Big Cruise".  Robert said all he could remember was the statement in the hot top... Dear Chris, I am so sorry. There are really no words to say to ease your pain. Scott was a really nice man and fun to be around. He will be sadly missed. I am here if you need me, I can say I have been where you are now.
