Richard Rick E. Williams

Richard (Rick) Williams, 50, died Friday, July 13, 2012. He was a native of Hampton, Va. Rick was an avid bass fisherman and enjoyed the time he spent fishing with family, friends and bass club members on the Suffolk lakes; he also enjoyed camping and bowling, with thirteen perfect 300 games, and spending time with family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Brenda S. Williams; daughters, Kristina Johnson of Hampton and Ashley Lowell of Maine; a brother, David Williams (Debbie) of Hampton; four sisters, Wanda Haas (Wayne) of Hayes, Jane Ward of Alexandria, Mary Tuggle of Gloucester, and Cindy Meredith (Herman) of Newport News; and a host of nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Grace Williams and two brothers, Johnny and Leonard Williams.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Collie & Sheltie Rescue of Southeastern Virginia, 2932 Drum Point Crescent, Chesapeake, VA 23321.
