Rita E Olmo

On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, Rita Elenia Olmo went home to be with our Lord. Rita was born on January 13, 1939. She was 82 when she passed. She was preceded in death by her husband – Bernardo Olmo and by her son – Joel Olmo. Staying behind to enjoy her memories are 3 siblings Alicia Gonzalez, Wilfredo Ruiz, and Rafael Ruiz. Also treasuring her blessings are 4 daughters and 1 son, Esther Warth, Millie Berrios, Yolanda Lopez, Nancy Gomez and Bernardo Olmo Jr., as well as a host of 11 wonderful grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

As a loving godly woman, Rita treasured her time with the Lord, family and friends. She continually used the Word of God to provide comfort, encouragement and peace to all those she came in contact with. She enjoyed reading her bible, crocheting, collecting porcelain dolls, taking walks and so much more. She was a sister, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, a friend and so much more to those who connected with her.

To allow all who knew her to be present, a Celebration of Life service is being held at Crossroads Christian Community Church located at 604 Hilton Blvd, Newport News VA 23605, at 5:30pm on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, with Pastor Marcel Berrios officiating.
