

He was born in Newport News, VA on April 18th 1952 to Eva Mae Nunnally and Paul Wayburn Nunnally. Roger was the youngest of 5 children. He attended Warwick High School in Newport News, VA. He went on to work in the food service industry and continued growth in his career as a shipfitter in the shipyard for 15 years and a mechanic for over 30 years.
He went on to open his own repair shop, Roger's Small Engine Repair, in 2011 that thrived until Roger's retirement in 2023.
He won hearts of loyal customers with skills in many trades such as painting, landscaping, building and remodeling of cars.
He is survived by his 3 children, Parker Judkins, 36, and wife Ashley Judkins, Ray Nunnally, 29, and partner Gabrielle Powell, and Kari Nunnally, 26, and partner Christopher Twisdale; his 2 grandsons, Kieran Twisdale and Carter Judkins; his sister Barbara Kerlin and husband Wayne Kerlin, his brother Paul Nunnally Jr, his sister Regina Salvucci and husband Dave Salvucci, his brother Richard Nunnally and wife Linda Nunnally, his brother-in-law, Donnie Glover and wife, Donna Lynn Glover.
He was a creative man with the ability to make anyone laugh. He was extremely family oriented and loved his children and wife dearly. Roger never knew a stranger and could conversate with anyone as if they had been best friends. He was an animal lover and car enthusiast. Roger was the providing father his family will miss so dearly. Our family has been blessed that we got to hear his hilarious stories and create lasting memories with him.
Roger's kindness made everyone feel at home and comfortable. He loved to put a smile on others faces. The outstanding love he poured into those he knew will leave a long lasting impression on all of our hearts.
Roger will be missed dearly by us all.
No ceremonies are planned as Roger wished to be cremated.
